The challenge at Belles 'N Whistles is "Cozy Winter Nights". It might not be winter yet but the days and nights sure are getting colder. The colder weather brings thought of snuggling up under cozy blankets to keep warm. Thus this new challenge to use something cozy on our cards. Examples of cozy items are: fun flock, felt, felt, flower soft and etc. I used a piece of velvet background paper as my cozy element.
I took a short break this past week. I didn't create anything I just took some time to spend with my husband and grandson. I didn't even enter any challenges! I do have a vintage card to share with you which I quickly create this morning. You can find this and other vintage prints at http://vintageholidaycrafts.com/
"Anything Goes" is the new challenge over at Doodle Dragon Studio. You can make a card, layout, treat container, anything you can imagine. The only rule is that you use a Doodle Dragon Studio image. I pulled out my zoo collection for this challenge. I Thought one last trip would be fun before we start with the snowflakes and the winter holidays!
The current challenge over at Doodle Dragon Studio's is to make "anything" for Halloween! I find making Halloween cards so much fun that I have a ton of Halloween cards!!! This is going to be the last Halloween card I make for this year. Time to put all these fun stamps away and get working on some cards for the next Holiday!
Trick or Treat Me is the challenge over at Belles 'N Whistles. It's really simple and it doesn't have to have anything to do with Halloween. They want you to just have fun. Check out all the details by visiting their Challenge Blog!
This weeks challenge over at Karen's Doodles is "All Sewn Up"! That means you can use real stitching (either on a machine or by hand) or faux stitching. And of course you will need to use a Karen's Doodle. You can even get a FREE digital image to enter the challenge!
This week over at All That Scraps their challenge is to make a magnet. There are no rules so long as it is a magnet. I used my Fall Hansel and layered him on some card stock then sent the entire project through my Xyron loaded with magnet strip. Once that was complete I trimmed the edges and I had a magnet!
This week we are "Distressing" with Karen's Doodles. This time I've used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in "tea dye" for the image. For the edges of the papers I used the Stampin' Up distressing tool and coordinating ink colors.
The last few days have been particularly windy here and I feel like I've been blowing around in that wind. I've been so busy the working on organizing the 600+ cards we received for our Operation Write Home drive. Needless to say, I didn't get anything else done but that the last few days, that is why I didn't get to post anything yesterday. . I did get to make a quick card this morning using Belle Sitting from Belles 'N Whistles. This card isn't for a challenge, I still have to check on challenges for this week! . .
Their is a little distressing going on over at The Greeting Farms Club Anya & Friends this week. There are lots of tools out there to distress. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks for distressing with inks. This time I even used the Distress Inks to color my image!

Over at The Greeting Farm this week they are Tootin' About Bows! If you have difficulty making bows be assured that you are not alone. And to help you; check out the tutorial videos on bow making at The Greeting Farms Club Anya and Friends Blog. Bow making is a talent that I've been blessed with, thankfully.
This weeks challenge is to make a manly card over at All That Scraps. It can be for either a little man or a big man, so long as it is masculine. I'm using Fall Hansel again as I think he is so cute and this time I'm using a sentiment from the Autumn Sentiments set.
Halloween or Fall is the theme of this week's challenge over at Karen's Doodles. I've been making so many Halloween card because they are just so fun to make that I decided I better go with the fall theme instead!

Today I do not have anything ready yet for a challenge to share.....so I thought this would be the perfect time to share a few Halloween cards. I made these Halloween Cards with a stamps from All That Scraps. Check them out for these and other incredible stamps.
This week we are making "Clear Card" for the All That Scraps Challenge. I've always admired these cards but have never made one, until now that is. I think I probably should have made my background a bit smaller so more of the clear card could be seen around but all in all I am happy with 1st try. . .
7 of Something is this weeks challenge over at Karen's Doodles. The something part is up to the project creator, just so there is 7 of that something. I've chosen to use pumpkin to go with the pumpkins in the image. The image I used is also the newest digital FREEBIE over at Karen's Doodles.
This week over at TGF there is a new card up to case, yeah. In a sense it is another sketch to follow just calling it by a different name! Check the Mystery Monday Card Casing every week over at The Greeting Farm. Even is you aren't playing along they have tons of inspiration to share.
Playing along with the Sketch Challenge over at Tickled Pink Stamps again. This is the 1st of about three sketch challenges this week! Too bad they are all completely different lol! Here is my interpretation of the Tickled Pink Stamp Sketch Challenge.
"Falling for Colors" is the challenge over at Doodle Dragon Studios. You guess correctly, it is a color challenge. Their choice of colors are: Brown, Red and Orange. The theme is Autumn colors at every site and it is no wonder, I'm anxious for Autumn too!

The lucky winners of this weeks challenge will receive double prizes if they entered last weeks challenge as well, yeah!
The challenge this week over at Belles 'N Whistles is "Clean & Simple". For this one I pulled out something I rarely use, that is my rub-ons. I forget about these and how easy they are to add a little something to your card. So a simple little rub-on is the only embellishment I used.
I'm back this week with another Mystery Monday Challenge from The Greeting Farm. Their is no mystery that they are casing another card and now that Monday is here it is no longer a mystery whose card they have chosen! You can check out the original card over at TGF's Club Anya and Friends Blog. Here is my casing of the card.
Today we are playing with a cracked glass technique for the Whatcha Tootin About Challenge over at The Greeting Farm this week. Check out their Club Anya & Friends blog if you want all the details to play along. They even have a video to show you this fabulous technique.
This weeks challenge over at Karen's Doodles is a Criss-Cross Card. This is a fun card to make with lots of flexibility, give it a try if you haven't already. Check out the Karen's Doodles challenge blog for a direct link to a tutorial if you haven't tried these cards before.
Not too long ago I did another challenge with "Pleats & Ruffles". This week we are playing along with The Greeting Farm and Club Anya & Friends Whatcha Tootin' About. Last time I ruffled my ribbon so this time I pleated my ribbon. For me the decision to either pleat or ruffles depends on the ribbon I am using. The lighter ribbons ruffle nicely while the heavier ribbons do not and you need to pleat those.
Corner Bookmarks are what the gals over at All That Scraps have us for a Challenge this week. You should peek in and check out the Design Team's amazing samples if you get a chance, loved them. Here is my entry for this challenge.
Challenge #27 over at Karen's Doodles is "Pretty in Pink". I know I need to get some new images ordered, I keep using the same one over and over. I keep changing the color but I'm going to soon run out of different colors, lol!!!

They are changing up their Monday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm. Instead of having the Monday Mania Challenge they now have Mystery Mondays, the case of the show cased card. You can find this weeks show cased card at their Club Anya & Friends Blog if you wish to play along. Here is my interpretation or how I cased the show cased card!
Since this is the 3rd the gals over at The Greeting Farm have decided to make their Farm Fresh Friday 3's. Use 3 papers, add 3 embellishments, etc.; you getting the picture!!! So it the spirit of 3's for the challenge here is what I've come up with.

Chuck, Stacey and Gabriel. Chuck is our son, Stacey our Daughter-in-Law and Gabriel is our Grandson.
This is my husband who was one of the last few good ones. He takes such good care of me and the Children. Chuck is my son from my previous marriage and he has always loved him as his own. Now he along with myself has custody of our Grandson Gabriel. My husband does so much for me that it truly makes most of my friends jealous! He is a wonderful man. Thank you for everything you do for me honey!
I have been stamping and paper crafting for as long as I can remember. Even as a child; before we had rubber stamps, as we know them today I would create my own cards and other gifts for every occassion imaginable. Today I still create my own cards, they are just much more elegant and impressive than they were all those years ago. I also continue to create gifts for almost everone on my list for every occassion. My moto is if it has a flat surface I can and do stamp on it!
