Over at The Greeting Farm they are gearing up for they're "Sweet September" release on Wednesday. They have been previewing some of their sweet and adorable new stamps since last week. If you haven't checked out their site you will want to do so, I have one of everything on my "Wish List"! For their Farm Fresh Friday they had a Sketch this week and this weeks lucky winner will get the Brand NEW "Sweet & Toxic" set FREE! So my interpretation of this weeks sketch and my entry to try and win this new set is:
This week over at The Greeting Farm they are Tootin' about Texture. They even put up two short video clips to show several different ways to add texture with your copics. But the texture need not stop there, add any texture you want and do it your way, just texturize that card!
This weeks Farm Fresh Friday from The Greeting Farm is a Color Challenge which they call Hawaiian Shores. The colors that are to be used are: Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Blue. I've used Baja Breeze for my blue.
This weeks challenge over at All That Scraps is "Fruit". It doesn't matter how just be sure to use fruit on your card in some manner. It can be part of the stamp, on the paper, die cuts, brads, etc. Just get the fruit on the card and of course you must include one of their stamps as well.
Over a The Greeting Farms Club Anya & Friends this week they are tootin' about Spray Inks. I'm using Glimmermist as that is my favorite spray ink and I have them all. Don't tell my hubby that one! These are so much fun to play with you will have loads of fun finding out which way is your favorite method!
Oh my it does not have to be lion and tigers and bears but Challenge #24 over at Karen's doodles is Animals. I used one of the free digital stamps I had gotten from Karen's Doodles for this challenge and you too can go grab a FREE digital stamp to enter this challenge or you can purchase some of the great animal stamps from the shop. This challenge is still open and you have until Tuesday evening to get you entry!
This week at Belles 'N Whistles the challenge is "Warm Colors"! I guess they are as anxious for the autumn weather to get here as I am. Plus the colors are autumn are just so beautifully deep, rich and warm how could one not one not be ready to see those colors again! In that that spirit I've created the following card to enter in this weeks challenge.
On October 10th I am hosting a card drive Event for the OWH at the Stamp Express. So all the cards I've created for challenges I have been packing up as my card donations for this event. I even went through all my old cards from challenges and swaps to add to my donation. My goal is to have 100 cards to donate. I'm hoping for a very fruitful and successful event. Here are a few cards I created this past week for the card drive! . .
This card is made from CC Designs Stamp Digital Stamp from All the scraps.
For this card I used a digital stamp from Doodle Dragon Studios.
And finally for this card I used a digital stamp from The Greeting Farm.
This past Friday was "Friday the 13th" thus the girls over at The Greeting Farm incorporated that into their Farm Fresh Friday Challenge. You don't have to use your lucky number but who wouldn't want to since you have a chance to win!!! My lucky number is indeed 13 but I used the number 4 as that is the age our grandson is going next month.
It is an all new challenge over at The Greeting Farm; Sketching and Scrapping with the Farmers. This is a monthly challenge that will be on the 2nd Thursday of each month. This month's sketch is designed by Mercy and my interpretation of that sketch is as follows.
The objective for todays card is to us Die Cuts. I choose to use a tree die cut from my cricuit cartridge Tinkerbell and Friends. I paired my die cut tree with cc designs swiss pixies Bridgette on a tree stump.
I'm simply tickled pink to be entering this month's "monthly sketch challenge #4" at Tickled Pink! They not only carry stamps from some of my favorite companies they also have their own line of stamps that are incredibly fabulous. My interpretation of their lovely little circle sketch is as follows:
A recipe challenge is what's cooking with Doodle Dragon Studio Designs! And the recipe is to use a doodle dragon studio image, buttons, stitching and a decorative edge. At the end of all that here is what I created!
This "Summer Zest" Challenge is the 23rd challenge with Karen's Doodles. What is Summer Zest? It is a color challenge of Yellow, Orange, Lime Green and a touch of Blue. As always the 1st place winner will receive 3 FREE digi's; the 2nd place winner will receive 2 FREE Digi's and the 3rd place winner will receive 1 FREE digi. Here is hoping for another winner!
This Button Challenge is from The Greeting Farm and the Club Anya and Friends Monday Mania. It is not only a button challenge but as described by the host "The Funkier the Better Button" I picked out the Funkiest Button I could find from my many jars of buttons to use for this challenge. Here's hoping to having the winning entry!!!
Yeah, I am finally back and the computer problems are solved. We ended up having to save everything we wanted to keep to a memory stick and resetting our computer to the original factory settings to be sure we wiped out any and everything that could be causing our problems. . Unfortunately we haven't gotten all our pictures and all back into the computer so I will have to get back on to post some cards then. I just wanted to let you know that they will be coming soon. . Meanwhile there are some great previews and prizes to be had over at the blog of http://allthatscraps.com/ They have tons of great stamps and digi's over there so be sure to check all there CC Design stamps out while you're there as well.
Wanted to let you all know we are having a few computer issues here. I haven't been able to post due to these issues. As soon as the issues have been resolved I will update my posts and share the cards I currently have saved but am unable to access at this time. Will be back as soon as I can, hopefully by the weekend!
This weeks challenge with Belles 'N Whistles is "Fun in the Sun". My interpretation of this is using their Sunshine and Apples stamp. This is one of my favorite stamps where Belle is walking in the sun with a parasol carrying an arm full of flowers and a basket of apples. Enjoy! .

Chuck, Stacey and Gabriel. Chuck is our son, Stacey our Daughter-in-Law and Gabriel is our Grandson.
This is my husband who was one of the last few good ones. He takes such good care of me and the Children. Chuck is my son from my previous marriage and he has always loved him as his own. Now he along with myself has custody of our Grandson Gabriel. My husband does so much for me that it truly makes most of my friends jealous! He is a wonderful man. Thank you for everything you do for me honey!
I have been stamping and paper crafting for as long as I can remember. Even as a child; before we had rubber stamps, as we know them today I would create my own cards and other gifts for every occassion imaginable. Today I still create my own cards, they are just much more elegant and impressive than they were all those years ago. I also continue to create gifts for almost everone on my list for every occassion. My moto is if it has a flat surface I can and do stamp on it!
